Our Memory Care residents had a great time visiting the Sweet’s candy factory! We got to watch how the candy was made and even try some! Everyone loves something sweet! Thank you so much to everyone who came to help, it was a great trip!
One of our assisted living crew made us this wonderful plaque for the entrance of our building. This resident has chosen to remain anonymous. For our part as employees we must say that seeing this plaque and all the gold medals every morning really starts the day out right. Thank you to whoever made this for us. We love it!
Three of our wonderful U of U students (Skyler, Sammi, and Kendall) put together a morning of Olympic games together for our assisted living crew. We took part in water bottle races, floor hockey, a music guessing game, and skee ball. It was all fun and games until we got to the hockey match. The hockey match saw our AL crew’s competitive sides come out. All of the games were fun to participate in and we would like to thank the U of U students for such a fabulous morning!
Our residents had such a fun time at our annual Valentine’s Day family dinner! They each got to invite two guests and share a delicious dinner with them! And with the best dessert the chocolate fountain! Yummy! What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with those you love most! We’re so grateful to everyone who came and helped out!
Baking is one of our residents favorite activities here at Carrington Court! Annette’s daughter, Liz, works as a baker and helped us make some delicious sugar cookies for Valentine’s Day! They were so yummy and we had a lot of fun making them!
Last week we celebrated the Superbowl! We made some fun footballs and had a great time!
According to Punxsatawney Phil this year we will have six more weeks of winter. We were hoping for an early spring so to make up for it we make these cute groundhog cupcakes!
We love having the chance to share holiday meals with family. We recently hosted a Valentine’s Day dinner for our assisted living crew and their family members. The night was wonderful with delicious food, good company, and lots of laughs. We would like to thank everyone who made this dinner possible and give a huge thank you to everyone who attended. You all made the night exciting and memorable.
At Carrington Court we are all family! And one of our awesome CNA’s, Ashley, is going to have a baby! We all got together to find out what it would be! Lindsey made some super cute cupcakes and with a secret center Ashley would find out what she was having. Some guessed a boy and some guessed a girl. And its a girl!! We are all so excited for her! Congratulations!!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and here at Carrington Court we like to be festive! So we got our craft supplies together and made these fun door decorations!
