This month we went to the Monte L. Bean Life Science museum in Provo. It was quite the adventure! We all enjoyed so much seeing all the fun animals and exhibits
Our Memory Care residents had the opportunity to watch an amazing magic show! The magician was Matthew the Great! And he was GREAT! The tricks were mind blowing, entertaining and so fun to watch! Even better he is only 14 years old! Thanks for coming and sharing your awesome talent with us!
Every body loves a good snow day! Especially if you don’t have to drive or shovel it. It was way too cold to venture outside so we brought the snow indoors and had so much fun! We made snowballs and painted the snow! We even made a snowman.
We had some fun the other day making necklaces! First everyone picked the wooden letter that their name started with, and painted it. Then we put it on some string and added beads! They were so fun to make! Here are a few pictures:
One of our AL residents, Marilyn, is the queen of puzzles. It is always amazing how fast she can put one together. Marilyn often helps other residents work on their puzzles when they get stuck on a particularly hard part. However, that doesn’t mean that Marilyn won’t accept a bit of help herself. One of our local scout troops came to visit and asked if they could work on a puzzle with her. By the looks of the pictures they had a wonderful time and completed quite a bit of the puzzle together.
Sometimes it’s nice just to take a moment to be silly together. Norma and Zach did just that on one of our recent AL outings.
