Last week we hosted a Thanksgiving Day dinner for our residents and their families. It was a huge success and we had so much fun visiting with family, friends, and employees. We cannot thank our staff enough for the hard work they put in, starting early in the morning and continuing well after dinner was over. We could not have had the beautiful and very yummy meal without the help of our entire staff including kitchen, housekeeping, CNAs, maintenance, and administration. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the families that attended. Without you we could not have made this dinner as much fun as it was. We appreciate all you do for your families and look forward to hosting you again for our Christmas dinner in December.
Last weekend our assisted living crew was visited by Geri Driggs and Chase Kimball from the Wasatch Avian Education Society. We got to hang out with three beautiful birds one of including Figaro, Kiwi, and Mojo. We are so grateful that Geri and Chase brought these birds and shared stories of how much fun, how much work, and how crazy taking care of birds can be.
As a tribute to how much fun our assisted living crew has had with the U students we decided to take some “prom” pics. See below the fun results.
And again, a huge thank you for all you have done! Good luck in your next adventures to Ali, Cameron, Hunter, and Max!!!
Our assisted living crew would like to extend a thank you to Verlene and Beverly for coming in and making cards with us. Verlene and Beverly helped us hand make each card using card stock, stamps, ribbon, scrapbook paper, and colored pencils. See below the beautiful results.
The other night we had a great group of kids come and preform a talent show for our residents. It was a great night full of laughs and entertainment!
This year our Carrington Court Memory Care Halloween Party was a success! We had so many families come and join in the fun!
These are some pictures from our costume contest winners and the awesome magician who came to preform for us! Also our residents and staff had a great time with their families and dressing up. They loved passing out candy as the kids came around trick or treating and seeing the fun costumes.
As we are heading into November it is important to start to recall what we are thankful for. Our assisted living crew created thankful pumpkins to place on their doors as a reminder to never forget the good things in our lives.
We love getting into the spirit of each holiday at Carrington Court. Here are some pictures from Halloween Day of our amazing staff and resident’s dressed up to celebrate.
