Several times per year we at Carrington Court Assisted Living are lucky enough to host some of the senior U of U students. These students spend 12 Saturdays with us as part of a project in which they help our residents exercise their bodies and minds. This group of students has been one of the best we have had to date. All of the residents love them as well as our staff. Every Saturday has seen a new, unique game or activity and it has been a joy to watch the residents’ faces light up for each one they have been introduced to. See below how big our smiles are for the parachute activity. Our current group is getting close to the end of their time with us and while we are sad to see them go we are excited to see what the future holds for them. Cameron, Ali, Hunter, and Max we are truly thankful for all you have done and wish you well as you go on to your Masters and Doctoral work.

Pre-Halloween Fun!
We have had so much fun here at Carrington Court getting ready for Halloween! From some awesome decorations outside, to baking and decorating some Halloween sugar cookies! In between we had a visit from Debra Bowers and her parents who preformed some great Halloween songs for us! And our residents had such a fun time making a black cat decoration and creating their own masterpieces. It has been a great week!

Walking with the Witches at Gardner Village
Gardner Village is our favorite fall trip! Our residents love going out and looking at all the fun fall decorations and especially the witches! With lots of Halloween fun going on there was something to catch your eye around every corner. And even though it was chilly, we bundled up and had fun. Thank you to all family members who came out to help make this possible.

Fall is in the air!
We are so excited about Fall here at Carringtoncourt! We love the colors and smells, everything that Fall brings.
We decided to put a few of our favorite Fall things in a jar to remind us. We added pine cones, sunflowers and lots of fall colors!
