Every Saturday, we have the U of U students here to teach our residents new exercises, and to play new fun games! The resident have so much fun, while getting to test their bodies and minds. The U students are great to have here, and the resident’s sure do love them! Today we played a game where they passed a ball to each other and wanted to reach to 30 seconds to be finished. They switched from smaller balls, to a large one. Every time they would restart, the time went down! The residents got their new record time for 15 seconds! Way to go! We even had Willow join us today and she brings some extra fun, we enjoy having her come visit!

Valentine’s Dinner
Every year we celebrate Valentine’s Day with a delicious dinner. Each resident can invite two guests to celebrate Valentine’s Day with them. Valentine’s day is about showing the ones you love, how much you love and care about them! What’s better than to share a dinner together, and get to be in each others presence.

Family
Today in activities, we talked about our Families. Every resident got a sheet of paper and wrote down all of their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We got to share memories, and everyone’s family together. There are different definitions of family. It can be blood, friends, community, etc. We are a family here at Carrington, and we love to talk about the importance of family.
