Carrington Court has a beautiful courtyard for our residents to sit outside in the nice weather! Floyd, Norma, Rhea, Eulala, Nancy and several other love to sit out there and soak up some sun and fresh air! The residents love to go out on bus rides every week. Oh and they love ice cream!

Balloon Badminton Time!
Balloon Badminton is one of the resident’s favorite games here at Carrington Court! It’s such a fun and active game, that gets their bodies and minds going! They have such powerful hits and enjoy hitting the balloon around!

We Welcome Fall!
Here at Carrington Court, today we made a beautiful fall wreath for our resident’s doors! Who doesn’t love fall? All of the leaves begin to change colors, the weather gets cooler, and it means all of the holidays are coming! We Welcome Fall this month!

Outing to the State Fair!
The resident’s had a blast at the State Fair! We appreciate all of the people who volunteer to help so we can go on such fun adventures. They loved seeing the cows, horses, birds, goats, and holding the bunny’s! A baby chicken hatched out of it’s shell! We got to see a Mamma pig with six piglets feeding! Norma was raised on a farm, and she loved getting to see all of the fresh grown fruits and vegetables! It was a fun time to end the summer with!

Pioneer Memorial Museum
For our August field trip we were able to visit the Pioneer Memorial Museum in Salt Lake City and had a great time! The residents enjoyed seeing the many different artifacts and photographs in the museum and we shared some old fashioned honey taffy and lemon candy afterwards. A big thank you to our volunteers!

Bowling!
Carrington Court loves to engage our residents in all fun activities and games. The residents enjoy getting to play different games like golf, bowling, ladder ball, balloon badminton, horseshoes and much more! Bowling was on today’s agenda! We had two different teams, The “Jaguars” and “Grizzlies”!

Maggie- Our Book Worm!
Here at Carrington Court, you can find Maggie about anywhere with a book, magazine or newspaper! She loves to read, and looks forward to getting her morning newspaper. She will bring her paper to her table for breakfast, and read things off of it to her table mates. She was a school teacher in English and History. She is so joyful and funny, she loves to crack jokes and make anyone smile! Maggie brings such brightness and happiness to Carrington Court, she gets along with everyone and loves to make people laugh!
