Last day with the U students

As a tribute to how much fun our assisted living crew has had with the U students we decided to take some “prom” pics. See below the fun results.

And again, a huge thank you for all you have done! Good luck in your next adventures to Ali, Cameron, Hunter, and Max!!!

Thanksgiving cards

Our assisted living crew would like to extend a thank you to Verlene and Beverly for coming in and making cards with us. Verlene and Beverly helped us hand make each card using card stock, stamps, ribbon, scrapbook paper, and colored pencils. See below the beautiful results.

Talent Show

The other night we had a great group of kids come and preform a talent show for our residents. It was a great night full of laughs and entertainment!

Halloween Party

This year our Carrington Court Memory Care Halloween Party was a success! We had so many families come and join in the fun!
These are some pictures from our costume contest winners and the awesome magician who came to preform for us! Also our residents and staff had a great time with their families and dressing up. They loved passing out candy as the kids came around trick or treating and seeing the fun costumes.

Thankfulness

As we are heading into November it is important to start to recall what we are thankful for. Our assisted living crew created thankful pumpkins to place on their doors as a reminder to never forget the good things in our lives.

Halloween Activity

Once a month or so our assisted living crew gets to spend time with some of the students from Jordan Ridge Elementary. This month the students spent time working on drawings and making candle holders with our residents. The students teamed up with a resident to glue tissue paper onto candle holders to give the look of stained glass when the candle is lit. The pictures below show how much fun we had that day!
