Bob and Frances are both residents here at Carrington Court and we are all so excited to be able to celebrate their sixty seventh wedding anniversary with them on June twenty eighth. They met on a beautiful sunny day on the steps of “The Spanish House” he was in town on business and was dropping one of his girlfriends off at college when he saw Frances sitting there chatting with some of the other ladies, he said he knew immediately he would marry her and that she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. For her, it wasn’t going to be quite that easy, it took a lot of convincing to even get her to go on one date with him! They both agree their best memories the past sixty seven years was having their two beautiful daughters, Becky and Judy. Judy passed away just a couple years ago. They have traveled the world together, they have been to Hawaii to many times to count, traveled all of Russia and all of Europe. They both agree that their best vacation was Hawaii, that was their favorite place to be! Bob proposed in Palm Springs, her mother packed them a homemade lunch that included fried chicken, and apple pie. After he asked her to marry him it took her two hours to say yes! I can tell just from watching them and talking to them they are still so in love. I am so happy to see them so happy together. Happy sixty seventh wedding anniversary Bob and Frances!
Our residents got the opportunity to go fishing at Grandpa’s Pond here in South Jordan on Friday! They had a really good time getting out with their friends and enjoying the great outdoors! 3 of our residents were able to actually catch some good size fish! One of our great volunteers cooked them up for everyone to enjoy! It was a fun day to get out and make more great memories. We hope you enjoy the pictures!
