Carrington Court and the Alzheimer’s Association of Utah would like to thank all those that attended the first Alzheimer’s / Dementia South Jordan, Utah support group. This Alzheimer’s support group is a great way for families to sit and discuss issues, ask questions, provide insight on Alzheimer’s and other dementias and talk about where their loved one is on their journey!
The difficulties associated with a memory disorder can be overwhelming for family members and their loved ones. As stated by the National Alliance for Caregiving:
More than 65 million people, 29% of the U.S. population, provide care for a chronically ill, disabled or aged family member or friend during any given year and spend an average of 20 hours per week providing care for their loved one.

Carrington Court and the Alzheimer’s Association of Utah understand this. For this reason we invite you to come and meet with families and other members of the community to get informative support and the understanding you deserve. Join our next community support group on March 15, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
If you cannot come this next month join another time. We will be hosting monthly support group meetings every 3rd Thursday at 6:30 p.m. They will be held at 1928 West 9800 South, South Jordan, Utah 84095.
